Dr. Alice Hsieh (pronounced "Shea") grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia and obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences after her Bachelor's degree at the University of Washington (Go Huskies!). She has always had an interest in emergency and critical care and has been strictly practicing emergency medicine since graduation. She enjoys the exciting, fast-paced environment and variety of cases in emergency medicine. She is compassionate and dedicated to providing exceptional care for all her furry patients, especially during unexpected times during emergency hours.  She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. 

Dr. Hsieh is happy to call California her new home. Outside of Pacific Care Pet Emergency & Specialty, she enjoys venturing out to different restaurants, hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with her two and four-legged family.
