Colleen Rae has been working in the animal care field for over 22 years. She first started as a critical care doctor's assistant in a large specialty practice. After 7 years she moved on to be a Zoo veterinarian technician and zookeeper at Los Angeles Zoo and Santa Ana Zoo. Her love of medicine never wavered, and she returned to specialty medicine as a hospital administrative assistant. She has an extraordinarily strong work ethic which she displayed in her achievements in conservation management. In her free time, she loves horseback riding and scuba diving.
