Dr. Valerie Lew grew up in San Francisco, California and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior at the University of California, Davis.

She earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Lew then completed a small animal rotating internship at a specialty hospital in San Francisco. Following her rotating internship, she continued on to complete a small animal surgery internship at a specialty hospital in Orange County.

Dr. Lew has been practicing emergency medicine since completing her training and takes a special interest in soft tissue surgery, toxicities and trauma cases.
